Bird Counter allows you to create count lists of birds and then click the birds name to add a count to it, and record the GPS location. Once you've finished your counting you can then email the exported files in both CSV and KML format for Google Maps by using the export options, either all the sightings. Or just the sightings in a list.
For example, you could create a list called PARK, GARDEN or RSPB Marshside, then assign birds (from a list of all birds recorded in the British Isles), that you would expect to see in that area.
Select the Tick Sightings option to see your saved lists and click a previously created list to open it.
This will show you the list of birds you're hoping to see at this site. When you see or hear a bird. Just click the name, and the counter next to it's name will increased by 1, and record also it's GPS location (if you have GPS enabled and available on your phone). You will know when the GPS is ready to start recording locations when you see the satellite icon in the top left of the list form.
This is a simple version of my Nature Log application that is also available in the Google Play Store, and is an excellent tool for monitoring counts of birds and then mapping them afterwards.
